Introduction to the web site
The Garceau family has setup this web site to update friends and family as to Ben's progress. We feel that online communities such as FaceBook and MySpace, are not desirable places to post personal and medical information, due to their lack of privacy controls and their tendency to change what privacy policies they have with little or no notice.
Register to Enter
Since much of what is discussed here is of a personal nature, we request that you register to use this site. Once you do, the personal content will be made available, and you will also be able to use the other features of the web site.
If you would like to register to participate, please select the "Login" menu item above and then click on the "Register" link at the bottom of the small form. When you do you will be presented with a short form to complete that will ask for your name, email address, etc.
The remainder of the registration process is very simple and involves two steps. The first step is to validate your email address. To do this, the web site will send you an email message that contains a link.
Please be on the lookout for this important email message to appear shortly after you complete the initial registration form. It is common for junk mail filters to store these messages in your junk mail folder, so if you do not receive this email message in a reasonable amount of time please check to see if it is in with your junk email.
When the email message arrives, click on the link and the web site will be informed that your email address is active. Following this, an email will be automatically sent to one of our moderators who will validate the registration information and activate you to use the web site.
